Project development: schedule and milestones (Gantt)

The Schedule tab in Project development brings the whole build process together as visual milestones — split into four phases and drawn as an interactive Gantt chart. You create milestones with dates, an owner and a status, and you can drag them directly on the timeline to adjust the plan. The result gives you and your team one clear overview of what happens when.

1Open the schedule

Open Project development in the left sidebar, pick your project, and go to the Schedule tab in the project hub.

The tab starts empty. Click Add first milestone to get going — or Add at the top of the milestone list once some exist.

2Create a milestone

A milestone describes a concrete event in the process. Fill in the form:

New milestone

Designation *E.g. Building permit received PhaseForberedelse Etablering Udførelse Afslutning StatusNot started In progress Delayed Completed Start date · End date — pick dates in the calendar OwnerE.g. Architect firm Ltd

Only Designation is required. Click Add milestone to save. When editing an existing milestone, the button reads Save changes.

Tip

Fill in both Start date and End date — that draws the milestone as a bar in the Gantt chart. Milestones without dates appear only in the list.

3Read the Gantt chart

As soon as at least one milestone has both a start and end date, the Gantt schedule appears at the top. Each phase groups under its own colour, and the bars show duration and progress.

Etablering

Udførelse

Afslutning

Switch between two resolutions with the buttons above the chart:

MonthWeek

Status colours the bar's progress: Completed fills fully, In progress partly, Not started stays empty, and Delayed is flagged red in the list.

4Drag to move

The Gantt chart is interactive on desktop. Drag a bar — or its edges — to move the start and end on the timeline directly. The dates save automatically, and the change is recorded in the project's activity log.

Important

The interactive Gantt chart only appears on desktop (width from 1024 px). On mobile you keep working in the milestone list — create, edit and change status there.

5Track status and progress

Below the chart, milestones are grouped by phase. Hover a milestone to reveal its actions:

  • Mark a milestone Completed with one click.
  • Edit designation, phase, status, dates or owner.
  • Delete the milestone.

At the bottom, progress is summarised per phase — e.g. 3/5 completed — so you can see at a glance how far each phase has come.

Note

Milestones, dates and status are part of the overall project and feed into the Project development report, so stakeholders get the schedule when you share or export the project.
