Mobile: push notification setup
Turn on push in the app to get alerts for agent hits, tasks and exports — even when Arcili is closed. Guide to permission, registration and turning it off.
Push notifications alert you directly on your phone when your project agents find new hits, an export is ready, or something needs your attention — even when the app is closed. Push is a native feature and works only in the Arcili app on a phone or tablet, not in the browser. Follow the steps below to turn it on.
1Open notification settings
Go to Settings in the app and find the Notifications card.
Control your notifications
Enable push
Here you control both device push and the other notification channels — In the app and By email for project-agent scans.
Push only works in the native app. If you open Arcili in a browser, you'll see the message "Push notifications are only available in the app", and the button can't be enabled.
2Enable push and grant permission
Tap Enable push. Your phone now shows the system dialog where you grant Arcili permission to send notifications.
- Allow → Arcili registers your device and you see the confirmation "Push enabled".
- Deny → an error appears and push stays off. You can always try again.
If you deny by mistake, the permission may be blocked in your phone's system settings for Arcili. Turn it on there, then tap Enable push again in the app.
3The device registers automatically
Once permission is granted, the app automatically retrieves the device's push token and links it to your account. There's nothing to copy or type — registration happens in the background.
You can sign in on several devices (phone and tablet) — each one registers separately, so you receive push everywhere you use Arcili.
4Receive notifications
When push is active, you're notified in two situations:
- App is open (foreground) — the notification appears while you work.
- App is closed or in the background — the notification lands in your phone's notification center.
Tap a notification to open the relevant page straight in the app — for example a property, an agent report, or a finished export.
To be alerted the moment a project agent finds new properties, also turn on Push notifications on the agent itself. That combines the in-app panel with an alert directly on your device.
5Turn push off again
To stop push on a device, return to Settings → Notifications and tap Disable push. You'll see the confirmation "Push disabled", and the device's registration is removed. You'll no longer receive push on that device until you enable it again.
