Project development: report generation
Bring your whole project together in one PDF report with cover page, planning rules, site plan and sales potential — plus supplementary exports like PPTX, Excel and BIM files (IFC, GLB, DXF).
Project development brings your whole project together in one place — 3D design, sales potential and the finished report. The final step, Report, merges everything into a single PDF with a cover page, planning rules, site plan and sales potential, so you can share a professional decision document with partners. Follow the flow from project to finished report here.
1Open the report step
Go to Project development in the left sidebar and open your project. A project has three steps that you switch between in the stepper at the top:
The report builds on the two previous steps. Make sure you have completed Development (3D model, parcel and planning data) and Sales Potential (units and prices) before you generate — otherwise sections will be missing from the finished PDF.
The cover page, planning rules and site plan are pulled automatically from what you built in the 3D editor. You do not enter them manually in the report step.
2Generate the report
When you open the step, Arcili immediately starts assembling the document. You see the status while it works:
Generating PDF... The combined report includes the 3D visualization, site plan, planning rules and sales potential.
When it is ready, the status changes to Report ready! with the text PDF is ready — tap download to save it.
The report includes:
- Cover page with project info
- Planning rules (local plan/municipal plan)
- Site plan — 4 angles + top-down plan
- Sales potential and housing plan
- Project economics (if filled in)
3Download the PDF
Click Download PDF to save the document locally. The button text changes to Downloading... while the file is prepared.
If you have set up a company name and logo under your title block, they appear automatically on the report cover. See Set up company title block.
If generation fails, PDF failed is shown with an error message. Click Try again — or use Regenerate PDF at the bottom to rebuild the document from scratch, for example after changes to the 3D model.
4Get supplementary exports
Below the main PDF you find more formats for specific purposes:
For Comparison Data and Construction Report you can choose the language (Danish or English) in the menu before the file downloads.
BIM export for 3D software
At the bottom are three technical exports of the building model itself:
- Download IFC — open BIM standard for architecture software
- Download GLB — 3D model for viewers and rendering
- DXF (2D + 3D) — CAD format for AutoCAD, QGIS and ArchiCAD
Project development and report generation work best on desktop (screen ≥ 1024px), where you have room for the 3D editor and the full export panel.
