Search for properties, companies and people
Use the global search as one place to find properties, condominium units, companies, people and foreign entities. Arcili infers the type from your input, ranks the most relevant matches and takes you straight to the detail page.
The global search is one entry point to everything in Arcili: properties, condominium units, companies, people and foreign entities. Just type what you are looking for — an address, a parcel number, a CVR number or a name — and Arcili infers the type, ranks the most relevant matches at the top, and takes you straight to the detail page.
1Open search
There are two ways to reach the global search:
- Click Search at the top of the left sidebar.
- Press ⌘Z (or CtrlZ on Windows) anywhere in the app.
The search panel opens as an overlay with a single field:
Search address, parcel, CVR or owner...
Press ESC to close the panel. On mobile, the back button closes search instead of navigating away from the page.
2Type what you are looking for
Search begins after 3 characters. As you type, Arcili streams in results and groups them by type:
Properties — addresses and parcels combined Condominium units — individual units with floor and door Companies — Danish companies via CVR People — owners and participants Foreign entities
Each group shows a count and a type icon. When a group has many hits, the first three appear — click Show more to expand the rest.
Search draws on public registers: the address and parcel registers, BBR, CVR and ownership data. Results reflect only what you have access to — if you are missing the company or map module, for example, that type is not shown.
3Understand the ranking
You do not need to pick a category up front. Arcili reads your input and moves the most likely type to the top — but all types are still shown, only the order changes:
For example: typing Søvej 12, 2. tv prioritises condominium units; typing 1971 ApS puts companies on top; and a plain name like Mette Hansen lifts people.
4Open a result
Click a result — or move with ↑ and ↓ and press Enter. Arcili takes you straight to the right detail page:
Search closes automatically and your choice is saved to history.
5Use history and recently viewed
If you open the search field without typing, Arcili shows your Recent searches with a type icon and how long ago you searched. Each entry takes you back with one click.
Søvej 12, 2700 Brønshøj — 5 min ago 1971 ApS — Yesterday Mette Hansen — 2 days ago
- Click Clear to remove the entire history.
- History is stored locally on your device (up to 15 entries) and survives a reload, but is not shared between devices or colleagues.
On the home screen you also have the Recently viewed widget, which lists the latest properties, companies and people you have opened — independent of your search history.
