Getting started with property search

Search and filter Danish properties across location, ownership, economy, cadastre, building and unit. Follow the live counter showing the number of matches, narrow on the map, and run the search to a result list.

Updated 6 June 2026

Property search lets you find exactly the Danish properties you are looking for — by combining advanced filters across location, ownership, economy, cadastre, building and unit. A live counter constantly shows how many properties match, so you can narrow the search before you pull up the result list.

1Open Properties

Open Properties in the left sidebar. You land on the filter panel with the heading Properties and the subtitle Search and filter Danish properties.

At the top of the panel you see the running count — for example 1,248 followed by properties — which updates the moment you change a filter.

Note

The counter starts by showing all of Denmark. Select a municipality or draw an area for a live count, so the number reflects your exact search. When it reads Counting properties…, a new count is in progress.

2Pick a tab and set filters

Filters are organised into seven tabs. Click a tab to switch between the groups:

FavoritesLocationOwnershipEconomyCadastreBuildingUnit
  • Favorites — your most-used filters gathered in one place.
  • LocationArea, Street name (Municipality), BFE numbers, Matrikelnummer and more.
  • OwnershipOwnership type, Virksomheder på adressen, CVR numbers.
  • EconomyLatest trade date, Public property assessment, Public land value, Latest trade price.
  • CadastrePlot area, Antal bygninger, Realized building coverage.
  • BuildingProperty type, Building use, Year of construction, Number of floors, Energy label.
  • UnitUnit use, Antal værelser, Badeforhold, Etage.

Each filter is either a range (fromto), a choice (dropdown defaulting to Any) or a free-text field. For example, pick Property type and select Detached house or Owner-occupied flat.

Tip

Looking for a specific filter? Use the search field above the filters:

You can also click the star icon ( Favourite) next to any filter to add it to the Favorites tab, so it is always at hand.

3Narrow geographically on the map

On the right (on desktop) the map is shown next to the filters. To limit the search to a specific area, draw a polygon directly on the map with Draw area.

Click to place points, and double-click to finish. The area is combined with your other filters, and the live counter updates immediately. To undo it, remove the boundary with Clear area.

4Run the search and review results

When the counter shows a number you are happy with, click Search. The filter panel is replaced by the result list, and the map shows the matching properties.

  • Click a property in the list to highlight it on the map.
  • Click a result (or its map marker) to open the property detail page with all the data.
  • To adjust your criteria, click Back to filters at the top.

If nothing matches your criteria, No properties matched your filters is shown with the help text Try adjusting your filters or expanding the search area.

5Reset or export

To start over, clear all selected filters with Reset. Active filters appear as chips at the top — click the cross on a chip to remove just that filter.

When you have a search you want to take further, pull the results into a spreadsheet via Export. Your filters and any drawn area scope what gets exported.

Important

On mobile the filters sit in collapsible sections, and the count plus Search live in a fixed bar at the bottom. The functionality is the same as on desktop — only the layout is adapted.
