Getting started with company search
Search and filter Danish companies by industry, area, status and financial figures. Follow the live counter, run the search and open the full company profile.
Virksomheder lets you search and filter Danish companies — from a single CVR lookup to advanced searches on industry, area, financial figures and property portfolio. You get a live counter that constantly shows how many companies match, and you can click straight through to the full company profile.
1Open Virksomheder
Open Companies in the left sidebar under Explore. The page is titled Companies and opens with the filter panel on the left and a map on the right.
At the top of the page you see the subtitle:
Search and filter Danish companies
Companies only appears in the menu if your team has the module enabled. If the item is missing, contact your team administrator.
2Search and filter
The filter panel is organised into tabs. Use the Search filters… field to quickly find a specific filter, or click through the tabs:
The basic filters live under Master data:
Industry — pick one or more industries Area — Region Municipality Postal code Company status — Active Ceased Company type — e.g. Aktieselskab (A/S), Anpartsselskab (ApS) Number of employees — from/to range Start date — period from/to
To look up one specific company by CVR number, open the Other tab and use the CVR numbers field.
You can combine multiple filters across tabs — e.g. industry + area + company status — to narrow down to exactly the group of companies you are looking for.
3Follow the live counter
As you adjust filters, the counter updates automatically and shows how many companies match. While loading it reads Counting companies…:
(the number is only an example — your own search shows your actual count)
Active filters appear as chips at the top. Click on a chip to remove that single filter, or click Reset to clear everything and start over.
4Run the search and view results
Click Search to load the list. The number next to the button shows how many filters are active. Each company appears as a card with name, status and key figures such as Revenue, Result, Equity, Solvency and Return.
You can always go back and fine-tune via Back to filters.
On the map to the right you can limit the search geographically: click Draw area, set points on the map, and close the polygon. The area is added on top of your other filters. Clear it again with Clear area.
5Open a company
Click a result card — or a marker on the map and then Open company page — to open the full profile with master data, financials, key people, ownership structure and property portfolio.
To get the entire search as a file, click Export in the page header and pick the columns you want included.
