Admin: send push notifications

Send or schedule push notifications to users' iOS and Android devices. Target everyone, by module, or selected users, add an optional deep link, and track delivery in a history with sent/failed counts.

Updated 5 June 2026

As an administrator you can send or schedule push notifications straight to users' iOS and Android devices. Target precisely — everyone, by module, or selected users — and track delivery in a history with sent/failed counts. This module is available to admins only.

1Open Push notifications

Go to the admin dashboard and open Notifications under the Operations group in the left menu.

The page is titled Push notifications and is split into four steps: compose the message, choose recipients, send (or schedule), and follow up in the history.

Note

Only users with a registered device can receive push. In the recipient list they are marked Push active — the rest show No push and cannot be selected.

2Compose the notification

Fill in the fields in the Compose notification panel:

Compose notification

TitleNotification title…

MessageWrite a message to users…

Deep link (route) (optional)/ejendomme/12345

  • Title and Message are required — the send button stays disabled until both are filled in.
  • Deep link (route) is optional. Enter an internal route (e.g. /ejendomme/12345) so the notification opens the right page directly in the app when the user taps it.

3Choose recipients

In the Recipients panel you decide who receives the message:

All usersBy moduleSelected
  • All users — everyone with push enabled. The count is shown in parentheses on the button.
  • By module — reveal module chips and pick e.g. Kort or Boligvurdering; only users with access to the selected modules are targeted.
  • Selected — open the user list and tick the individual recipients. Users without push are dimmed and cannot be selected.

At the bottom a counter shows the number of recipient(s) with push for your current choice, so you know exactly how many devices the message reaches.

4Send or schedule

To send immediately, click Send notification.

To deliver later, press Schedule delivery and pick a date and time under Send at time. The button then changes to Schedule notification.

Tip

Scheduled notifications appear in the Scheduled notifications panel with their time and audience. You can delete a scheduled send with if plans change before it fires.

5Follow up in the history

Sent notifications are logged automatically in Sent notifications, newest first:

12 sent
Delivered
1 failed
Unreachable

Each entry shows the title, message, send time, the sent count and — when relevant — the failed count, plus the chosen module and deep link. Use the history to confirm reach and catch devices that couldn't be reached (e.g. unsubscribed tokens).
