Manage pending invitations

See sent team invitations awaiting acceptance, check their expiry date and role, and revoke them in one click from the Invitations tab.

When you invite a colleague, the invitation sits and waits until it is accepted. The Invitations tab gathers every pending invitation in one place — who it was sent to, the role they will get, and when it expires — and lets you revoke any of them with a single click if something needs to change.

1Open the Invitations tab

Open Team from the user menu and select the Invitations tab in the tab bar:

At the top you will see the heading Pending invitations with a counter for how many are waiting:

Note

The counter reads, for example, "3 invitations awaiting acceptance. Expires after 48 hours." Each invitation has an expiry date — after that date, the link in the invite email no longer works.

2Read the list of pending invitations

Each row shows the recipient's email, when the invitation expires, and the role the person will get when they accept:

The role badge (for example Viewer, Member or Admin) tells you what access the person will receive. Hover over the badge to read the full role description.

3Revoke an invitation

If an invitation should no longer apply — wrong email, changed role, or a person who is no longer joining — revoke it:

  1. Click Revoke on the relevant row.
  2. Confirm in the Revoke invitation? dialog.
Warning

When you revoke, the link in the invite email stops working. You can always send a new invitation to the same email address afterwards.

While the revoke runs, the button changes to Revoking…, and the list refreshes automatically so the revoked invitation disappears. To back out before confirming, click Cancel in the dialog.

4When the list is empty

If there are no pending invitations, the tab shows No pending invitations. along with a hint to go to the Members tab and click "Invite member" to send a new one.

Tip

An expired invitation disappears on its own. If the person should still join, just go to TeamMembersInvite member and send a fresh invitation to the same email.
