Reset a forgotten password
Forgot your password? Request a reset link from the login page, open it from your email and choose a new password — including handling two-factor authentication.
If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself from the login page. Arcili sends a reset link to your email, and once you follow it, you choose a new password and are signed back in — all without contacting support.
1Request a reset link
Go to the login page and click Forgot password? below the input fields.
You land on the Reset password page. Enter the email you use for Arcili:
Then click Send reset link.
Arcili is invite-only, so use the email your account was created with. If you enter an email without an account, you won't receive a link for security reasons.
2Confirm the email was sent
Once the link is sent, the page switches to a confirmation:
Check your inbox
We've sent a link to your email.
Find the email in your inbox. If you can't see it, check your spam or junk folder. You can always click Back to login and try again.
3Open the link from the email
Click the reset link in the email. It opens Arcili, where the link is validated first:
Choose your new password.
Set new password
Click Set new password to continue to the password step.
The link is temporary. If you see the message Invalid or expired link, the link has been used or has expired — click Send reset link to get a new one.
4Choose a new password
On the New password page, fill in the two fields:
New password — ••••••••
Confirm password — ••••••••
The password must be at least 6 characters, and the two fields must match. Click Save new password.
Do you have two-factor authentication (2FA)?
If your account is protected with two-factor, an extra Authenticator code field appears at the top:
123456
Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app before you click Save new password. Without the correct code, the password can't be changed.
5Sign in with the new password
Once the password is saved, you see the confirmation Password updated — sign in with your new password, and you're sent back to the login page. For security, all your other devices are signed out at the same time. Sign in with your email and the new password — and you're back in.
