Get started with the map
Open the map, search addresses and parcels, click a parcel for property and planning data in the side panel, turn on map layers, switch to 3D and use the toolbox to draw, measure and view oblique photos.
The map is your geographic entry point into Arcili: here you search addresses, click into a parcel and see property and planning data directly in the side panel. Follow the flow from opening the map to having a property open with layers, 3D and tools at hand.
1Open the map
Click Map in the left sidebar. The map opens full-screen with the search field at the top and a toolbar along the edges.
You can also open a specific location directly via a share link — for example a parcel (/kort?bfe=...) or a coordinate (/kort?lat=...&lng=...&zoom=...). The recipient lands in exactly the same place as you.
The Hide panel button at the top left folds the side panel away for maximum map space. Click Show panel to bring it back.
2Search an address
Use the search field at the top left. It covers addresses, condominiums and parcel numbers, and results autocomplete as you type:
Search address...
Click a result to fly to the location. The map zooms in and property data is loaded into the side panel.
3Click a parcel and read the side panel
Click directly on a parcel on the map to select it. The side panel on the left shows the data, split across three tabs:
- Property — master data for the parcel, buildings and units, plus ownership.
- Plans — relevant planning data for the selected parcel (such as local plan and municipal plan).
- BuildAI — chat directly on the selected plot to get an overview of what can be built.
On mobile the same data appears in a bottom sheet instead of the side panel — drag it up to see the details.
4Turn on map layers
Click the layers button Layers at the bottom right to open . Here you enable planning layers, conservation areas, environmental data, parcel layers and much more.
Search map layers...
Many layers have status variants: Vedtaget Forslag Aflyst
Search for a layer name to quickly find the right layer, and combine several layers on top of the map.
A small number on the layers button shows how many layers you have turned on. Use Reset or Deselect all in the panel to clear your selection.
5Switch to 3D, sun and perspective
Click Switch to 3D at the top right to render buildings in 3D. The button switches to Switch to 2D when you want to return to the flat map.
In 3D you can rotate and tilt the map to judge perspective, and open Sun simulation from the toolbox to see shadow casting at different times.
6The toolbox: draw, measure and photos
Click the tools button Tools to expand the toolbar:
Sun simulation Rain layer Snow layer Draw on the map Measure distance / area Print map Save screenshot
- Draw on the map — place pins, lines, polygons and circles.
- Measure distance / area — draw a line for distance or a polygon for area; use Close area, New measurement and Clear all to manage the measurement.
At the bottom right you will also find Oblique photo (aerial photos from several directions) and Look Around (street level in 360° — click a point on the map to choose the view).
Use My location next to the zoom buttons at the bottom left to jump to your current position. On mobile this requires that you have granted the app access to location.
