Data sources and public registries

Which Danish public registries Arcili builds on — buildings, companies, ownership, the land register, addresses and planning data — and how often they update.

Updated 5 June 2026

Arcili builds on public Danish registries and keeps them continuously updated, so your analyses rest on a current basis. Here are the main sources and their update rhythm.

1The primary registries

BBR
Building data
CVR
Companies
EJF
Ownership
Planning
Local & municipal plans
  • Building register (BBR) — use, area, build year, installations. Updated continuously.
  • Company register (CVR) — base data, accounts, roles. Synced nightly.
  • Ownership (EJF) — owners and shares. Daily sync.
  • Land register (tinglysning) — ownership and charges; cache-first with on-demand refresh.

2Addresses and planning data

  • Addresses are fetched in real time via a public API.
  • Planning data (local and municipal plans) comes from public sources; key parameters are extracted from the documents.
Note

Building data can be a couple of weeks behind reality — registries update when authorities report changes.

3Currency in practice

Because the sources have different rhythms, a brand-new change (e.g. a just-registered trade) can take a little time to be fully reflected everywhere. The land register, however, is fetched fresh on demand.
