Cancel team/account (Danger zone)
As owner you can cancel the entire team from the Danger zone. Data is kept during a grace period, and the cancellation can be undone until it ends.
If the team needs to be shut down, the owner can cancel it from the Danger zone. To protect against mistakes and data loss, the actual shutdown doesn’t happen immediately — there’s a grace period where you can undo it.
1Go to Team → Danger zone
As owner: open and click Cancel team.
2Confirm the cancellation
Read the consequences, write an optional reason, and confirm by typing CANCEL. This prevents accidental cancellation.
3Grace period
The cancellation takes effect only after a grace period (typically 30 days). During that period your data is kept and you still have access.
You can undo the cancellation at any time until the grace period ends. If you change your mind, go back to the Danger zone and revert it.
