Clear local cache

Clear the app’s offline cache and local browser storage without logging out — e.g. if new data isn’t showing, or to clear address history. You stay signed in.

Updated 5 June 2026

Arcili stores a little data locally on your device to keep the app fast — map tiles, your search history and offline data. Sometimes it helps to clear the local cache: e.g. if you suspect something is showing stale data, or you want to remove your local search history. You won’t be logged out.

1Clear the cache in Settings

Go to Settings and find the Data section. Click Clear cache.

This deletes:

  • The app’s offline data and cached map tiles
  • Your local address and search history
Note

You stay signed in, and your saved valuations, projects and notifications are untouched — they live safely on the server, not in the local cache.

2When it makes sense to clear

  • New data doesn’t seem to come through, even after reloading
  • You want to remove your local search history from this browser
  • The map or a panel behaves oddly after an update
Tip

On mobile the local cache is trimmed automatically every time the app restarts, so you rarely need to clear it manually there.

3What the cache does NOT contain

Search history is local per browser and isn’t shared between devices. All content is sent encrypted over the network (HTTPS), and your account data, projects and download history live on the server — not in the cache. Clearing the cache doesn’t affect them.
