Search result is wrong or missing

Why a search can fail and how to fix it: minimum characters, field filters, missing modules and typos.

Updated 6 June 2026

Not finding what you’re looking for? Search in Arcili prioritises result types based on your input, and there are a few common reasons a result doesn’t show. Here are the most frequent — and what to do.

1Check character count and format

  • Names require at least 3 characters.
  • BFE numbers (cadastral units) are recognised at 7-9 digits.
  • CVR numbers are recognised at 8 digits.

Type the full address or number — search autocompletes as you type and waits briefly before looking up (press Enter to force it).

2Check whether the field is restricted

Some search fields are locked to one type — e.g. "cadastral only" or "addresses only". Search for a company in an address field and you’ll get no hits. Use the global search (Search), which covers all types.

3Are you missing a module?

Result types are hidden if your team doesn’t have the relevant module. If you get no company hits, the company module may not be enabled for your team.

Tip

Check the spelling — especially Danish special characters (æ, ø, å) and address numbers. Search handles typos, but a completely wrong street gives no match.
